Dan Bowden was born on October 6, 1955 in Sherman, Texas. He passed from this life on November 28, 2021. His life will be celebrated on December 3, 2021 at 2:00PM in Sherman at Waldo Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Akers Cemetery in Sherman.
Dan was the proud father of two daughters, one son, and seven grandchildren. He loved music, playing games, watching movies, and comedy shows. He was a die-hard Marine and was a wonderful husband and a very generous man.
Dan graduated from Howe High School in 1974. He joined the Marine Corps in 1976 and retired in 1994. He started working at Texas Instruments in Sherman, TX in 1994 and retired in 2020.
He is preceded in death by his father WH “Spike” Bowden and mother Willie Mae “Ann” Bowden. Dan is survived by his wife Teresa Bowden of 16 years of Pottsboro, Texas, daughter April Bowden of Phoenix, AZ, daughter Dawn Wormsbaker & son-in-law Josh Wormsbaker of Rockwall, TX, son Ryan Trujillo of Pottsboro,TX. Also grandchildren Chase Woodrum, Alissa Trujillo, Ava Wormsbaker, Ella Wormsbaker, Uneek Foster, Axton Lamance, and Eedyn Foster. Also his brother Spike David Bowden, sister-in-law Mary Bowden, nephew David Bowden, and nieces Vanessa Bowden and Maryann Bowden.
