Game 742 in school history.  Howe has an overall record of 379-338-24.  It is the 21st time the Bulldogs have made the playoffs and it is the 33rd playoff game for Howe since the program started in 1935.  Howe has an overall playoff record of 12-17-3.  The Bulldogs are 8-10-2 in bi-district playoff games.  Howe has played three playoff games in Denton County and are 1-2, losing to Lewisville (1940), beating Pilot Point (1998) and losing to Farmersville (2000) – all of which were bi-district games.

This will be the first ever matchup between Howe and Grandview.  However, the two schools have had a recent history in girls basketball and girls softball.  The Lady Zebras ended Riley Harvey’s high school career in the playoffs last year, but the Lady Dogs knocked off Grandview in the softball playoffs a few months later.

Bulldogs Head Coach Zack Hudson is 27-18 overall and 3-2 in the playoffs.  Jim Fryar has the most playoff wins with 4 and the most playoff losses with 4.  This is the sixth playoff game to start for Andrew Griffin, Brandon Wall,  Tyler Grisham, Brice Honaker, Mike Helpenstell, Clay Marshall, Tanner Hartsfield, and Matt Griffin.  The record is seven (Jon Norwood, Monte Walker).
