Howe Chamber lands Stevie Ray Vaughan clone ‘Texas Flood’ for Founders Day in May

When the calendar flips to 2018 and the leaves pop back on the trees, Howe’s downtown will rock like never before as the Howe Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that ‘Texas Flood’ will be the featured entertainment of the evening from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.  The entertainment was made possible thanks to a sponsorship by Tomlin Investments.

Texas Flood is a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band that looks, sounds, and feels the part of the famous Texan guitarist.  Texas Flood has become one of the premier blues bands in all of North Texas. Evolving from the original tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan, Texas Flood pays tribute to the legends as well as the future of the blues through their own music and style. With an in-your-face show and raw high-energy-playing Tommy Katona takes the listener on a journey through the blues.

The chamber is hoping to still have Bent Creek play from 2 pm to 5 pm to open the festivities.  The festival starts at 2 pm and ends at 8 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
