The last time Howe played on a Thursday night was on Nov. 12, 2015 in the bi-district championship against Edgewood. Howe trailed 27-0 until midway through the second quarter and eventually came from behind 43-33 to win in what was the greatest come-from-behind victory in school history.

Howe vs. Boyd
Howe is 1-2 overall vs. the Boyd Yellowjackets. Howe’s win came Oct. 10, 2010 in a 47-20 shootout at Bulldog Stadium. The first game between the two teams was in the area championship round on Nov. 19, 1998 at Pennington Field in Bedford. Boyd advanced past Howe, 28-13.
This is Howe’s second trip to Boyd’s new stadium that opened in 2010. The Dogs lost 55-6 in 2011.
