28-year-old Howe man arrested for assaulting 18-year-old

Sep 30 – At approximately 5:10 pm, Howe Police Officers arrested a 28-year-old Howe man at his residence in the 700 block of N. Collins Freeway on a warrant for Aggravated Assault. The warrant was the result of an investigation into an altercation at the residence a day earlier in which the suspect assaulted an 18-year-old Tom Bean man. The victim in the case required medical treatment to close a gash to the top of his head. Other individuals may be facing charges for making a false report to a peace officer.

Sep 26 – At approximately 11:53p, Howe Police Officer David Morris arrested a 52-year-old Sherman man for DWI after stopping him on Hwy 75. The stop was a result of a motorist complaint of a reckless driver. The suspect failed a sobriety test and was taken to a nearby hospital for a consensual blood draw. He was then taken to the Grayson County Jail.
