There will be traffic stops along Luella Rd just north of Bennett Rd today and tomorrow. The creek that runs beside the road has eroded the shoulder and several trees have now fallen into the creek. Grayson County Commissioner Jeff Whitmire says that to prevent future damage to the road and to prevent flooding in the area, their crew will be clearing the trees from the creek and then rebuilding the shoulder. “We will be working from the road, so traffic will be closed for periods of time. We will let you by, but have a little patience. If possible, please avoid this area during the work day.”
