July 19th – At approximately 2:00am, Officer Robert Todd arrested a 48-year-old Howe resident for DWI (3rd) after stopping him in the 700 block of N. Collins for a traffic violation. A search warrant was obtained for a sample of the suspect’s blood. He was taken to a local hospital for the blood draw and then to the Grayson County Jail.
July 17th – at approximately 7pm, Officer Keith Milks arrested an 18-year- old Van Alstyne woman for DWI and PCS PG 3 after stopping her for a traffic violation on US Hwy 75. A search of her vehicle revealed two prescription Diazepam tablets for which she did not have a prescription. The suspect refused a request for a blood sample, so a search warrant was obtained. She was taken to a local hospital for the blood draw and then to the Grayson County Jail.
