The City of Howe will hold their monthly city council meeting tonight at 6:30 PM at The Community Center at 700 W. Haning St.

The Howe Bulldogs JV are 3-0 on the year after beating Lindsay last Thursday, 30-18. They opened the season by beating Bonham 8-6 and then Sacred Heart 40-26.
Last week, Winston Mosse and Jaden Matthews each had two touchdowns. Cooper Akins had a two point conversion and Seth Seibold caught a two point conversion as well. David Crees threw a TD pass for one of Winston Mosse’s two touchdowns, and threw a two point conversion to Seth Seibold.

Mural in plans for downtown
A main area in downtown Howe could look very different in the near future. The new owner of the corner downtown building (formerly M&M’s Hardware) has sketched a plan to incorporate a modern design with a tip of the hat to Howe’s history. The wall will have advertising space available inside the mural. The design is very similar to one on 6th Street in Austin, but has been tailored to fit Howe.
