Children who lost toys in tornado given party at the School Zone Academy

The Brian McDaniel family lost most everything in the tornado that ripped through Stark Lane in Howe.  But some of the toys that their two children lost were replaced at a party this afternoon at the School Zone Academy in Howe.

“We are in awe and we are love struck with this community.” said Tiffanie McDaniel.  “It’s got to a point where we’ve stop thinking about what we need and have started thinking about how we can give back.  I came from the city and you don’t see stuff like this.  My people are okay and that’s what matters.”

The young students of the School Zone Academy drew pictures for the two McDaniel children.  One even drew them a new house.

“You really realize who your friends are and how many friends you really have during times like these.” said McDaniel.
