Playoffs come with big price; Carroll, Menjivar out for season.
Howe slot back Stratton Carroll and defensive tackle Joel Menjivar each suffered a torn right ACL Friday night in Howe’s playoff clinching win over Whitewright. Both will miss the rest of the season. Carroll was second on the team in rushing with his 896 yards on 78 carries. His 11.49 yards per carry leads the team. Carroll’s Twitter message read, “Well this is going to be a tough six months”

All-School Reunion board to meet tomorrow
In preparation for the 2015 All-School Reunion, the board will kick off their first meeting Saturday, November 1 (tomorrow) morning at The Howe Community Library at 10 am. Anyone interested in participating in the planning is welcome to attend the meeting.
