Howe Christmas parade float registration form
The Keep Howe Beautiful Christmas parade called, “It’s a Wonderful Town” will take place next Saturday, Dec. 13 at 5pm. Lineup will start at 4 pm at Charles R. Thompson Gymnasium parking lot at Howe Middle School. The downtown Christmas tree lighting will take place after the parade. Live music will also be downtown next Saturday.

Howe ISD seeking substitute teachers
Howe ISD is currently accepting applications for substitute positions for the 2014-15 school year. To be eligible for substitute placement, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
All applicants who meet the above criteria are required to attend a mandatory training on Thursday, January 8th at 9:00 am in the Howe Elementary School before being placed on the district’s substitute list. All applicants must provide the following:
- Two forms of identification (i.e. Driver’s license, social security card)
- Completed substitute packet (packets given at training)
