Former Howe Bulldog Garrett Fulenchek threw one shutout inning vs. Kingsport tonight.  That one inning was good enough to place him in the record books with his first career win.  Fulencheck struckout one batter and has dropped his ERA to 4.50 on the season.

The win puts his career record at 1-8 in his 16 games pitches thus far in his young career.  He’s thrown 45.2 innings and struck out 39 in outings now split with the Rays and Braves organization.  He has yet to give up a run since being traded to the Rays organization.
