Monte Walker, play-by-play

Monte Walker, a Howe native, started broadcasting in 1994 with KWSM covering Sherman Bearcats football. In 1995, KLAK-FM obtained the rights to Sherman games where he stayed through 1998. In 1999, Walker moved to KMKT-FM as a color analyst for the Denison Yellow Jackets before taking the play-by-play position for KLAK-FM for McKinney ISD. In 2005, Walker was selected as the play-by-play voice of the Coca Cola All-Star football game in Arlington. In 2008, Walker became the play-by-play voice of the KTEN-TV Game of the Week.

Upon purchasing the Howe Enterprise in 2014, Walker formed Studio42 and became the play-by-play voice of the Howe Bulldogs for football, basketball, baseball, and softball.

In 2021 and 2022, Walker was the play-by-play voice for the Class 5A-II state championship games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Over the years, he has had the pleasure of broadcasting NFL players such as Robert Griffin III (RG3), Matthew Stafford, Jordan Taylor, Hunter Smith, Cole Beasley and others as well as MLB’s Zach Lee.

Walker is married to Michelle and they have two sons – Jake and Mahlon.

Justin White – color analyst

Originally from Frankston, Texas. Play by play and color analyst for Frankston High School from 2008-2016 calling football, basketball, softball and baseball games. Started working with Studio42 as sideline reporter for football in 2017 and has been working as a color analyst with Howe since 2018 broadcasting football, basketball, softball, and baseball games. White was on the broadcast crew in 2021 and 2022 for the South Oak Cliff Golden Bears playoff run in football which included their two state titles. Married to wife Olivia. Have one daughter, Hallie.
