April 8 – At approximately 10:10 pm, Howe Police Officer Jordan Clark arrested a 33-year-old Howe woman for Assault Causing Bodily Injury (Family Violence) after responding to a report of a domestic dispute at a residence in the 1000 block of Swanner Drive. A 33-year-old man reported being assaulted by his wife. He had minor, but visible, marks to support his claim. An emergency protective order was obtained which prohibits the suspect from returning to, or going within 500’ of the residence for 31 days.
April 13 – At approximately 12:10 am, HPD Officer Todd arrested a 40-year-old Lancaster man for possession of methamphetamine. The arrest was the result of a consent search after the suspect was stopped on Hwy 75 for a traffic violation. The suspect’s extreme nervousness led to the officer asking for consent to search. The officer found two baggies of meth in the man’s pants pockets and a glass meth pipe in his vehicle. The suspect was booked into the Grayson County jail.
