2001 Howe Bulldogs

The Dogs had a new coach in 2001 with Larry McFarlin.  Former Head Coach Davey DuBose left for a similar position and left Howe with 34 wins to place him among the elite in Howe coaching history.  McFarlin got off to a slow start with a struggling offense that only scored 116 points for the entire season.  Howe finished with a losing record (3-7) for only the fourth time in nineteen seasons.
