1988 Howe Bulldogs Wall Final

The Bulldogs of ’88 were similar to the 1986 team. Rob Boaz’ blazing speed and Jesse Farrer’s toughness on defense led Howe to a great regular season. Things once again fell short in the Bi-District playoff game against Famersville in Garland. Jamie Engle started at QB for the entire season and ended his career with 18 TD’s which was third behind Rick Hanning and Jack Gattis. He also threw ten more than his brother David in ’79-’80.
