4-5-1
The records may not have shown it, but Howe had a weapon by the name of Randy Geer that dominated opposing players at will from ’82-’84. Geer immediately set the longest TD run record his Sophomore year with a 98 yd run to beat Coppell in the four minutes of the game. Twenty days later, he went 92 yds vs. Anna and would later match his 98 yarder in ’83 vs. Anna. By the time Greer’s Howe career was over, he would have the top four longest TD runs in school history along with passing Jimmy Watson, M.H. Jeter, and Alton Norman to become the most prolific scorer behind Billy Bryant Cloud.
